A deliciously slow-paced supernatural mystery that I will admit didn't fully land for me on the first watch.

There's an interesting mix of serious and comedic tones, chiefly in the lead performance by Kwak Do-won (whose wide-eyed expressions occasionally reminded me of Lou Costello in the Universal monster comedies) as a buffoonish middle-aged village cop who ends up becoming the dramatic moral center of the film.
